[Edit]The debut by the Logan, Utah group is a raw collection of fun favorites. Their energy and wit is obvious with a collection including oddballs like "Sam You Made the Pants Too Long" and "Five Long Years." Their harmonizing is above average but unpolished, which may have been one reason they chose to redo several tracks years later on their collection Six. Some pop hits were never made for a cappella arrangement, as the irritating "guitar" solo in "Pride (In the Name of Love)" attests. The jungle also grew a little too restless in their amateur rendition of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight." You can't argue where this album took the group, however. Their growth is obvious on later projects. Besides, Voice Male will be the first ones to tell you that they're in it for the fun, not for the money.
