Details
[Edit]This is a likable baker's dozen from a quartet that lacks the spunk necessary to get you raving. Walking Wounded fancy themselves as populist liberals, slinging guitars instead of sidearms. They write "issue-oriented" material that tackles the "issues" of the day. Which are really not a whole lot different from the "issues" of yesterday: e.g. living too fast and dying too young, gettin' burned by slick talkers and soulless hucksters in Hollywood, and blah, blah, blah. They certainly are earnest enough, and play with more conviction than your average bunch of bandwagon-jumpers, but nothing ever grabs you by the throat. Which is too bad; they sound like they could do better. ~ John Dougan, Option r2_88, Rovi
