Wally doesn't sing too well, but he sings ironic, almost funny, songs about the quirks of modern life. In the first song, he invokes both Kerouac, and UFOs. This is college dorm, laugh-over-a-beer songwriting; the playing is acceptable, but the lyrics and jokes are predictable. If you are a friend of Wally, you'll want this CD, but Boston-area songwriter Jim Infantino covers this same territory with so much more wit and depth that it's not really fair to Wally. "Wonderful Sex" is the best cut.
