[Edit]It’s not too surprising that the Watson Twins—identical twins Chandra and Leigh Watson—would record an album of family-friendly material that's especially “appropriate for kids ages 3 through 7.” Their sweet, pure harmonies softened the atmosphere around Rilo Kiley’s Jenny Lewis on her excellent 2006 album Rabbit Fur Coat and brought a compelling intimacy to Bill Withers’ “Ain’t No Sunshine” on their affectionate EP of covers, 2011’s Night Covers. One needn't be a small person to enjoy the divine melodies and playful vocals of “Hello, Hello” or “Stay True.” This enchanting nine-track album clocks in at just more than 22 minutes, with the bucolic “Sun Drips on Leaves” being the album’s epic at just shy of three minutes. “Love of Mine” sounds, on the surface, like a natural folk-pop love song, but its lyrics are simple and innocent enough for a first-grade Valentine’s Day party. Producer Russell Pollard, of the band Everest, keeps the arrangements clean and pretty. A delight.
