Originally hitting stores in 1976, Wanted! The Outlaws is a collection of previously released material from beloved music icons Willie and Waylon, with help from more obscure players Jessi Colter (Jennings' wife) and Tompall Glaser. It topped Billboard's country album chart, spawned the hit singles "Good Hearted Woman" and "Suspicious Minds," sold more than a million copies (the first of its genre to do so), and is universally considered a landmark LP in the outlaw country movement. Reissued 20 years later, the newer version included nine more unreleased tracks, plus a brand-new selection called "Nowhere Road." Whether you bought this the first time around or are a younger fan of today's alt.country scene, this is absolutely chock-full of gems. It's an ideal soundtrack for a lazy night of reminiscing with longtime friends over the good old days. Highlights include "Yesterday's Wine," "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys," "Put Another Log on the Fire," and "Heaven and Hell."
