[Edit]Burton's excellent follow-up to his debut album, The Quest is well produced and presents a story without relying on a script. Following the lives of two young people struggling to find something to believe in, the music unfolds their growing testimonies in the Savior. David is a Latter-day Saint who temporarily loses his faith when his beloved older brother Michael dies while on his mission. David's friend Wendy independently studies her scriptures and converts to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Both are observed from Heaven where Michael and Wendy's mother sing with joy at their beloved's testimonies. Burton handles the voice of David with a pretty good blend of angst and renewal. Eden Morris is excellent as the voice of Wendy with a very nice voice that captures the emotions very well. Cory Bench, Emily Castleton, Katherine Thompson, and Justin Smith round out the cast of voices and all do a nice job. Burton shares that there may be a script some day for this album, but he wrote the songs with the intention that they could stand alone with just a brief description of the background of the characters. He succeeds quite nicely with this offering. ~ Dacia A. Blodgett-Williams, Rovi
