Details
[Edit]Liquid Glass might be a "different" release by Revelation standards (i.e., not straightedge hardcore), but it's a pretty standard record — as their name suggests, Whirlpool falls into the iffy ground of American rock with a few dreampop influences (right down to the album's low-budget 4AD-style artwork), with neither end standing up very well on its own. There's a moderate amount of hooks on the record, but none of them seem to make up for the uninspired sound of the band.
