[Edit]With the raging erotica wave claiming the airwaves, Willie Gonzalez emphasized on the romantic content, and, therefore, de-emphasized aggressive arrangements that allowed catchy, syrupy lyrics to attract the public of the times. At that time, Sonotone still licensed the Musical Productions enterprise (they would become a full-fledged record label on their own, later that year), but still the label's brightly arranged (but romantic) style took a pause this time. The popular preference focused on tunes like "No Te Podrás Escapar de Mí" and "Seda" (both by Jorge Luis Piloto) and the self-penned "Vuelve."
