[Edit]Israeli Goa psych-trance may not be ready at the tip of your tongue when someone asks you what's in your record collection, but given Hommega's inaugural CD in the form of Yahel's Sound & Melody EP, that could all change. Similar to the cracked Infected Mushroom, the duo's Erez Aizen even shows up on "For the People" but, more forthcoming to the crowds, these tracks are incredibly dense, almost bedraggled trance that are as overloaded as they are interesting. Club music generally doesn't crease your brow, for better or worse, and cuts like "Waves of Sound" and "D.N.A." are so far removed from the Sasha and Max Graham brand of well-brushed trance that you can't help but try to figure out what they're on about.
