YFN Lucci’s December 2019 release HIStory marked his fifth mixtape in as many years, and while you can’t quite call HIStory, Lost Pages a sixth, the tape’s update is nothing to sneeze at. The six additional songs begin right after “7.62,” the song that opens the original HIStory, and feature six guests—all of whom have traveled a road similar to Lucci, their ascents powered by the undying support of various rap territories. Voices like Baton Rouge’s Boosie Badazz, Baltimore’s Bandhunta Izzy, and Florida’s Jackboy (among others) sprinkle uniquely regional flavor onto a project whose pointedly Atlanta-centric culture then becomes even more likely to resonate in the home bases of its guesting MCs.
