Crafting poppy, yet mildly exotic music for the Haitian public, Zin succeeds through their energy; they have a spark that even the occasionally flat production can't stamp out. Although this may not appeal to anyone unfamiliar with Haitian-American music, this is a great album for anyone familiar with the style.
