[Edit]Like thousands of hopefuls, Pennsylvania's Anvil Bitch jumped on the speed metal bandwagon in the wake of Metallica's breakout success. But the band — featuring singer Gary Capriotti, guitarist John Plumley, bassist Dave Carr, and drummer Chuck Stadulis — only managed one 1986 LP named Rise to Offend before fading from sight, and soon thereafter, memory.
