Biography
[Edit]Born in Houston, saxophonist Cal Bennett played and recorded with Stevie Wonder, Dionne Warwick and Donna Summer before beginning a solo career rooted in R&B and jazz. Local Hero also includes bassists Dwayne Smith and Sam Sims, guitarist John Bigham, vocalists N'Dea Davenport and Francissa Peter, and percussionist Brian Kilgore.
