A fictional character popular on German radio, Der Kleine Nils — or, in English, "Little Nils" — is a five-year-old "boy" who makes prank comedy phone calls to citizens both public and private. The calls are then broadcast on air on a number of different radio stations worldwide to popular acclaim. The act, as it were, released nearly ten albums from 2004 to 2007 — some on Sony/BMG — and was eventually picked up by radio stations in Austria, Switzerland, Spain, the United States, and Australia.
