[Edit]Channeling the chiming hooks of the Chills and shambling pop of Television Personalities, Sacramento band English Singles offer a heartfelt, jangly mix of modern noise pop. Led by Scott Miller, known around town for his bands Nar, Ski Instructors, and Bright Ideas, English Singles got a boost from the legendary Slumberland record label, which released their full-length debut, Grey Skies USA, in April 2012.
