Julian Cheung

During the early '90s Julian Cheung emerged to immediate success in Hong Kong as a singer and actor. Born in Hong Kong on August 27, 1971, he released his debut album, Modern Love Story, in 1991 on the label Fitto. A duet album with Maple Hui Chau-Yi, Modern Love Story was an enormous success, making him a star overnight. In 1992 he made his acting debut, starring in the television series Peak of Passion, followed a year later by his first role in a film, A Warrior's Tragedy. In subsequent years he continued singing as well as acting, releasing new albums annually and appearing in a long list of television series and films.
