As if UGK were born and raised on the second floor of Macy's, Texas duo Kataztrofee hit the scene with an odd mix of grinding hip-hop beats and vibrant attire that was more "clothier" than "streetwear." Members Eric "Victory" Johnson and Shannon "Mr. Arrogant" Speed had met frequently at MC battles while both were solo artists working around Fort Worth, Texas, but in 2013 they joined forces. With the cataclysmic moniker Kataztrofee, the well-dressed duo released the single "Der She Go" that same year. Late in the year they released the clotheshorse anthem "Polo! Polo! Polo!," a hit that went viral enough for them to land an opening slot on 2 Chainz' 2014 tour of America.
