Biography
[Edit]Indianapolis, IN's Middletown play a largely acoustic brand of folk-ish alternative country similar to the Continental Drifters, whose Peter Holsapple functions as a sort of unofficial fifth member on Middletown's 2002 debut album Welcome to the Family. The group consists of bassist and multi-instrumentalist Tad Armstrong, keyboardist Stacia Demos (who most often plays accordion), guitarist and pedal steel player Aaron Stroup, and drummer Gonzalo Dias. Armstrong, Demos, and Stroup write songs separately; all four sing harmonies.
