Biography
[Edit]An active touring and recording gospel artist with a muscular voice, Monica Lisa Stevenson was raised in Wetumpka, Alabama, where she became a licensed minister and, in 1997, established the group Lisa Stevenson & Company. Her debut album, Finally…In God's Time, was released in 2009, and it earned her Stella Award nominations in the categories of Best New Artist and Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year. After an appearance in Madea's Big Happy Family, she released Live in Atlanta in 2013. Stevenson is a member of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, as well as Decatur, Georgia's New Life International Family Church.
