Biography

Raw high-energy rockers Per Purpose formed in Brisbane, Australia in 2010, made up of vocalist/guitarist Glan Schenau, drummer Matt Ford, and bassist Harry Byrne. The bandmembers found their sound somewhere between frantic post-punk and angular guitar rock, issuing several 7" singles and cassette releases before 2011's Implicating More Than One EP. In 2012 second guitarist Mitchell Perkins joined Per Purpose, and they worked toward what would become their first full-length, 2013's Circle the Stains.
