Biography
[Edit]Born in Hungary and raised in Australia, singer/songwriter Peter Foldy moved to Toronto in 1965. After his 1973 hit "Bondi Junction" succeeded both in Canada and the U.S., Foldy moved to Los Angeles, appearing in the films The Last Detail and The Paper Chase (both 1973), and 1980's Roadie, which also featured Alice Cooper, Meatloaf, and Blondie. After ending his recording career in the early '80s, Foldy became a highly successful writer/director for the movies. He made a surprise return to the music world in 2014 with the release of an all-new collection of songs, the Bronte Road Music-issued Nine Lives.
