Biography
[Edit]The greatest swamp rock band to have never existed, Pusswhip Banggang are the hard-rockin' alter ego of Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, creators of Adult Swim shows Tom Goes to the Mayor and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!. The fictional band made their first appearance on Awesome Show, where they were the subject of an infomercial for their greatest hits, which featured ripping cuts like "Fudge Man" and "Don't Call Me Uncle." In 2014, the pair brought the band into the real world with a Record Store Day release of their "hit" single, "Jambalaya." It was released on Drag City as a limited-edition picture-disc LP, and took the band on the road in the summer of that year when they set out on the Swamp Rock Tour.
