Biography
[Edit]The first underground rap group from Kansas City to make much headway beyond the local scene, the Southside Playaz brought together a large circle of hardcore rappers in the late '90s for a debut album, Ghetto Soldiers (1996). The album made ripples throughout the Midwest as well as the South, and the Playaz returned in a few years later with Anticipation of Death (2000).
