Biography
[Edit]The alternative metal quartet Spite was formed in July 1996 in Charlotte, NC, with a lineup consisting of vocalist Chris Boone, guitarist Craig Baker, bassist Josh Pratt, and drummer Byron McDonald. Taking their cues from the lean, stripped-down assault of groups like the Deftones or Korn, Spite recorded an album titled Heavy Whipping Cream and toured the East Coast relentlessly, eventually landing a recording contract with Prosthetic Records. Their national debut album, Bastard Complex, was released in 1999.
