He issued a few albums through a label he had established, but left the West Coast for Nashville and a broader audience base in 1986. He returned to Nashville regularly and eventually was hired by Little Big Town Music Group. Soon, Waylon Jennings had a hit with Seskin's "Wrong" in 1990. Alabama included his "She Can" on the group's Southern Star album in 1989. In addition to singing and performing, Seskin teaches songwriting at San Francisco State University, Nashville Songwriters Association International, and through the Northern California Songwriters Association.
