Biography

A funk-tinged rock band out of Sweden, Stone Antica were formed in 2005 in Mjolby, Sweden by singer Martin Sommanson, guitarist Edvin Egir, bassist Jon Liedberg, and drummer David Satermo. Mixing funk rhythms with R&B, blues, and rock, the band arrived at a modern and energetic indie hard rock sound, releasing a debut album, the self-titled Stone Antica, independently in the fall of 2011.
