Biography
[Edit]Superchick first appeared in 2001 with Karaoke Superstars (Inpop), a peppy mix of popternative grooves and CCM positivity. Led by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Max Hsu (ex-Church of Rhythm), the band also included vocalist Tricia Brock, her guitarist/vocalist sister Melissa Brock, fellow guitarist Justin Sharboro, drummer Brian, and bassist Matt Dally. Extensive touring followed the band's debut on wax, and high-profile song placements (in Legally Blonde, for example) upped their profile while promoting their message of empowerment via Christianity. Superchick returned in October 2002 with Last One Picked, a collection of crunchy pop-punk numbers. The remix album Regeneration followed a year later.
