Biography
[Edit]Born in Lomé Togo, West Africa, and based in Washington, D.C., rapper Tabi Bonney — the son of musician Itady Bonney — began rhyming in high school and formed the group Organized Rhyme while in college. The group released material independently and opened for several big-name acts. Maintaining his affinity for the likes of the Native Tongues camp and other forms of non-hardcore rap, Bonney released his first album, A Fly Guy's Theme, on the Organized Rhyme label in late 2006. One track featured an appearance from Raheem DeVaughn. He has also maintained a fashion line called Bonney Runway.
