Biography
[Edit]The Fast Set — apparently the one-person project of D. Knight — released the first single on the short-lived Axis label, which changed it's name to 4AD after being on the receiving end of legal actions from a more established imprint of the same name. The other singles released in close proximity by the soon-to-be 4AD were by Shox, Bearz, and Bauhaus. The Fast Set's single was entitled Junction One, which featured a B-side cover of T. Rex's "Children of the Revolution." Their only other recorded moment (a cover of T. Rex's ("King of the Rumbling Spires") appeared on 1981's seminal Some Bizarre compilation, which featured the likes of Depeche Mode, Blancmange, the The, and Soft Cell.
