Biography
[Edit]A heady, Krautrock-inspired collaboration between Brit-pop guitar legend/producer Bernard Butler (Suede) and Yummy Fur/1990s guitarist Jackie McKeown (the group also includes Paul Borchers and Igor Volk), Trans grew out of improvisational sessions between the two veteran axe slingers. Summed up by its creators as "Glasgow left/London right," the group's Rough Trade-issued debut EP, Trans Red, which featured improvised recordings made at Studio 355 in London in 2012 that were edited down and peppered with tasteful overdubs, arrived in 2013.
