Biography
[Edit]Progressive jazz and prog rock outfit Trioscapes make post-bop, avant-garde, fusion, and heavy metal-infused instrumental music. Formed in Greensboro, North Carolina in 2011, the trio features saxophonist Walter Fancourt, bassist Dan Briggs, and drummer/electronic musician Matt Lynch. Citing such influences as Mahavishnu Orchestra and King Crimson, Trioscapes released their debut album, Separate Realities, in 2012. In 2014, Trioscapes returned with their sophomore album, Digital Dream Sequence, on Metal Blade.
