Zouk All Stars

The Zouk Allstars are Dominique Gengoul, Jean-Luc Alger, Frederic Caracas, and Charles Maurinier, four young musicians who have made an indelible mark on Antilles music of the 80s and early 90s. To call them prolific is a gross understatement; pick up any ten zouk albums, and it's likely that one or more of their names will appear on at least seven as producers and/or instrumentalists. Solo projects include studio groups like Karata, Mazout', Champagn', and Lazair. The crystal clarity of their production, the funkiness of their playing, and their ceaseless creativity are the reasons behind their popularity.
